Dr Pranab Dey was superannuated as Professor of Cytology at a premier national institute (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh). He has devoted more than three decades to research, reporting and teaching. Dr Dey published 13 books on cytology, gynaecologic pathology, and laboratory techniques and is considered one of the leading authors of pathology. He contributed significant original research works (more than 500) and is considered one of the top 2% scientists in the world. Dr Dey has an intense interest in artificial intelligence and has published several research papers in this area over the last two decades.
