Senior Consultant, Department of Clinical Cytopathology and Pathology, Institut Curie, Paris, France.Jerzy Tycjan Klijanienko, born 1960, received his medical degree (MD) from the Medical University in Wroclaw, Poland, in 1984 and a specialization in surgical pathology at the University Pierre and Marie Curie, Paris VI, Paris, France, in 1987. In 2001, he completed his qualification in Clinical Oncology. He was resident in Institut Gustave-Roussy, Villejuif 1985-1990. As a visiting pathologist, Dr. Klijanienko worked at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Centre, New York, USA and the Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, USA. From 1991 to 1992, he was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas, Anderson Cancer Centre. Since 1992, Dr. Klijanienko has worked as a senior consultant in the Department of Clinical Cytopathology and Pathology, Institut Curie, Paris, France. In 2010, he obtained a PhD degree, in 2012, a title of Habilitated Doctor, and in 2019, he was nominated Full Professor of Medical Sciences by the President of Poland. He is a member of the European Society of Pathology and the International Academy of Cytology. He has authored four pathology books, more than 40 chapters of books and around 400 scientific publications, mainly concerning cytopathology. He was the president of the 43rd European Congress of Cytology 2021 in Wroclaw, the president of the European Federation of Cytology Societies 2019-2022 and vice-president of Societé Française de Cytologie Clinique (since 2019). He is the president of the 24th International Congress of Cytology, organized in Wroclaw in 2031. He is an Expert Member of IAC-IARC-WHO Cytology Reporting System (Soft Tissue Tumors, Breast Tumor and Head and Neck Tumors).

Dr Pranab Dey
Former Professor of Cytology, PGIMER, ChandigarhDr Pranab Dey was superannuated as Professor of Cytology at a premier national institute (Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh). He has devoted more than three decades to research, reporting and teaching. Dr Dey published 13 books on cytology, gynaecologic pathology, and laboratory techniques and is considered one of the leading authors of pathology. He contributed significant original research works (more than 500) and is considered one of the top 2% scientists in the world. Dr Dey has an intense interest in artificial intelligence and has published several research papers in this area over the last two decades.
